This morning after stopping in at work, I went by the grocery store. I wanted to get some ingredients for pumpkin cookies that I’ll be making this weekend for Thanksgiving, as well as the last few things I needed to make pumpkin bread.

While I was at the grocery store I went over to the produce to see if anything was calling me to be put in my salad for lunch. Then I heard it, the orange bell peppers. I don’t know why, but I knew I needed them. I ended up getting two.

When I got home I made the pumpkin bread. The kitchen smelled fantastic while it was baking. I’ll post about it once I get some photos taken of it.

In my spinach salad for lunch I had the above mentioned orange bell pepper, carrots, and spinach. On the side I had an orange and a whole grain pita.

It’s been a very orange day so far, with the orange bell peppers, pumpkin, carrots, and orange. Kind of fitting since Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I totally should have taken a picture of my orange lunch, but I forgot. Whoops.
