I realized yesterday during my run how much my head affects my workouts.

I made a conscious effort to keep my head occupied so that it wouldn’t have time to tell me the usual horrible things that it tells me. I guess I didn’t realize how bad it was til it wasn’t there.

Instead of letting it tell me that I’m not good enough I kept trying to tell myself that I am capable, that I can do anything if I’m willing to put in the effort.

I’m hoping that sooner rather than later the positives will be second nature and I won’t have to fight against the negative voices.
