I’ve been going to physio for the last month or so. I’ve been having problems with plantar fasciitis in one of my feet (apparently it’s weird that I only have it in one foot – most people get it in both feet).
My physiotherapist has been awesome. He knows running is important to me, so I’ve been able to keep running, although I’ve had to cut back. Unfortunately I had to cut back again a couple weeks ago, because although the pain isn’t getting any worse, it’s also not getting any better. Boo.
I’m pretty hopeful though that things will be back to normal sooner rather than later. At first I was kind of hesitant to spend the money on physio, but it’s going to be worth it when I can get back to running without pain. You don’t realize how good you have it when you’re healthy – it’s only when something goes wrong that you appreciate a healthy body.
