WIAW Breakfast April 10 2013

Apparently I’ve been on an English muffin kick lately, cause I’ve eaten a ton of them the last couple weeks. Along with it I had an orange, yogurt, and water for breakfast.

I ended up stopping by the grocery store on the way home from work and decided to try some sushi for lunch. It’s made in-store, and while it looks good, I somehow doubted that it actually would be. I picked a veggie one and it was actually really tasty. I’d definitely get it again.

Dinner was tacos. I layers ground beef, cheese, sour cream, and salsa in them. I haven’t had sour cream in a really long time, so it tasted amazing! I had water to drink.

For breakfast I had an English muffin with margarine, an orange, yogurt, and a glass of water.

Lunch was a multi grain wrap with mustard, spinach, chicken, a pickle, and cheese. I also had an apple and yogurt on the side, and water.

Dinner was leftover beef stroganoff. I haven’t had it in ages and it tasted really good. Hopefully it doesn’t take years for me to have it again.

Breakfast was a muesli type cereal, navel orange, yogurt, and water.

Lunch was an egg salad wrap on spinach and a multigrain tortilla, yogurt, and water. It was definitely a two egg-egg salad kind of day – I was so hungry by the time lunch rolled around.

For dinner I had a hamburger with cheese, tomato, pickle, ketchup, and mustard, potato salad, a few chips, and water.

What’s your favourite kind of cereal? Have a secret ingredient you put in your egg salad?

Today is the first day of spring! I can’t convey how excited I am about that. This winter has felt very cold, snowy, and long. I can’t wait for warm, sunny days!

WIAW Breakfast March 20 2013

For breakfast I had some cereal, yogurt, an orange, and water. I never buy fat free yogurt – it doesn’t taste like anything to me.

Lunch was a ham sandwich on a multi grain ciabatta bun with swiss cheese and mustard, a spinach salad with feta cheese and dressing, and a Granny Smith apple. I love how tart and crunchy Granny Smith apples are. I also had a glass of water.

For dinner I had a chicken and veggie stir fry with sweet and sour sauce. I could probably eat stir fries a couple times a week and not get bored.  Underneath the stir fry is rice, though it’s hard to see in the photo. I had water to drink.
